MOSAIC is seeking a results-oriented, multi-skilled professional with excellent communication skills to develop our childhood instructional program and team.


Early Childhood Education Educator, LINC childcare program
Employment, Language, and Social Enterprise
Working with Newcomer children at a Licensed group daycare, the ECE implements activities for the children's programs and helps in the preparation of daily activities and assists and interacts with children appropriately.
  • Be familiar with the ECE contracts and operations policies, and understand their role in achieving the stated goals and contractual outcomes, through either direct or indirect means
    • Help to identify and respond to emerging program issues and work closely with the Manager in planning solutions
    • Stay up-to-date and current on ECE instructional theory and methodology including the use of technology
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • ECE or ECEA Licence,
  • Understanding and respect for various child-rearing practices, knowledge of BC ELFW, and BC CCLR Act with minimum of the High school completion
  • First aid certificate, Food Safe and WHMIS certifications
  • Tuberculosis screening &immunization record
  • Some experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Must be reliable, sensitive to the needs and concerns of immigrant families, versatile, and flexible.
  • Must pass criminal record check.
  • Second Language is an asset

Annual salary commensurate with the level experience and qualifications
