Workshop: H.S. Tariff and Classification

Pacific Customs Brokers is offering a workshop on Harmonized System Tariff and Classification. The session will focus on H.S. Tariff Codes for importation of commercial goods into either Canada or the United States and will provide hands on experience in classifying goods and parts, help understand the complexities of the various rules of interpretations of the H.S. Tariff System. Additionally, you will gain a better understanding on how duties are determined and how certain special programs may assist you in lowering the duties that your business pays for imported goods. This is a great opportunity for businesses with newly hired logistics staff to receive cost-effective training and/or refresh their awareness in the transportation industry.

 

5 points towards maintenance of the CCS/CTCS designation(s) will be awarded by the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB).

 

This event has been approved by the NCBFAA Educational Institute (NEI) for 6.25 points towards maintenance of the U.S. CCS designation.
