Webinar: Part I. NAFTA

Pacific Customs Brokers is hosting a two part webinar series on NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Each of the 75 minute sessions will cover crucial information on NAFTA. Avoid a common assumption that all products that are manufactured in Canada, the United States or Mexico are eligible for duty free status under NAFTA. In this first session, we will clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the parties in the transaction, discuss how to make a determination of eligibility using the “rules of origin”, and understanding basic preference criterias. We will explain the Customs expectations for the use of reasonable care, and provide you with helpful hints in working through your NAFTA certification.
