Surrey Canada Day

Coast Capital Savings and City of Surrey are proud to present Surrey Canada Day 2012. This event has grown to become the largest Canada Day celebration in Western Canada with attendance last year surpassing 100,000 people. The event features world class entertainment, great food and endless family fun (including games and amusement rides), all capped with a Spectacular fireworks finale. This year’s main stage presented by Chevron boasts another stellar line-up featuring headlining Canadian rock icon, Sam Roberts Band and Vancouver rising star, Hannah Georgas for an amazing evening of music. Sam Roberts is a six-time Juno award winner whose debut album became one of the best selling independent releases in Canadian music history. His impressive string of hits includes “Brother Down,” “Don’t Walk Away Eileen” and “Where Have All the Good People Gone.”
