[SSWR Event] After Work Chamber Mixer Presented by the White Rock Museum & Archives

Join us for an engaging evening of connection, culture, and community at the Marine Room! Presented by the White Rock Museum in partnership with the BC Black History Awareness Society and the Royal BC Museum, this event celebrates the launch of Hope Meets Action: Echoes Through the Black Continuum.

About the Exhibit:
Hope Meets Action shares the compelling story of Afro-diasporic history in "British Columbia" - past, present, and future. This exhibit uncovers stories of Black belonging in the region that have often been overlooked, presenting a narrative curated and told by the Black community for the first time. Through its impactful storytelling, the exhibit invites guests to reflect on the living history of Black communities against the backdrop of colonial history.

Guests will have the opportunity to hear from the White Rock Museum team and visit the exhibit across the street to experience its powerful message.
