Shaping Regional Prosperity and Competitiveness - Metro Vancouver Sustainability
Join with a distinguished panel to discuss how to shape regional prosperity and competitiveness. This dialogue will explore the type of jobs we want to grow; regional assets we can leverage; and whether the high cost of living is constraining our ability to prosper as a region. Panelists include: Lorraine Copas, Executive Director, Social Planning and Research Council of BC; Peter Jeffrey, Vice President, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters British Columbia; Don Cayo, Columnist, The Vancouver Sun; and Jean Lamontagne, General Manager of Planning & Development, City of Surrey.
Brought to you in partnership with the Surrey Board of Trade; the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce; the Delta Chamber of Commerce; the Greather Langley Chamber of Commerce; the Richmond Chamber of Commerce; and the South Surrey and White Rock Chamber of Commerce.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 am and the dialogue will get underway at 12 noon. A special presentation on the 2013 Draft Metro Vancouver budget will take place over lunch.
