At this special dinner event, world-renowned energy expert and New York Times bestselling author Vaclav Smil will discuss the need for a clear-eyed, realistic approach to balancing the economy and the environment while meeting humanity's material needs on a finite planet. This is a rare opportunity to hear Professor Smil speak. It is his most high-profile talk ever in Western Canada.
