Each year we celebrate those involved in policing in Surrey with the Police Officer of the Year Awards. There are 8 awards in all, highlighting Officers, Volunteers and Businesses the help make our city safer.
Categories include:
- Police Officer of the Year as nominated by the members, employees & volunteers at Surrey Detachment.
- Police Officer of the Year, as nominated by the community
- Arnold Silzer Community Policing Initiative
- Police and Business Partnership
- Police Municipal and Civilian Employee of the Year
- Police Volunteer of the Year
- Auxiliary Constable of the Year
- Police Team Award
The Surrey RCMP along with Surrey’s Auxiliary officers, civilian employees and volunteers will join members of Surrey’s business community to celebrate those individuals who have been chosen by their peers and the public to receive the Police Officer of the Year Awards.
