October 25, 2022 - Impact Learning Lab - Retail Strategies: Maximizing the Buying Potential of Shoppers

The holiday season is approaching quickly - are you ready to make the most of the biggest selling season? A recent survey of Surrey shoppers shows that two out of three shoppers would prefer to shop in-store.

Retail expert Natalie Tan joins us to show retailers simple, easy-to-apply techniques to maximize the buying potential of each shopper.

Participants will learn:
  • How to create a practical selling space by ensuring customers shop the entire store.
  • To understand the role of modular fixtures and their placement in showcasing the merchandise.
  • How to influence shopping behaviour by implementing category adjacency strategies.
Natalie Tan, Owner of Natalie Tan Retail Consulting and Store Design, facilitates this session. Natalie has over 25 years of experience in specialty retailing, offering innovative strategies to shopping centres, retail shops, and airport operators to maximize revenues. Currently, she teaches retail Merchandising and Display Strategies at BCIT School of Business.
