May 30, '12 - HR Workshop: Employee Leaves

These sessions will teach you the specific and important aspects of HR within your business, focusing on different areas of human resources and employment law.  Each session will provide you with practical solutions you can implement in your business to ensure that your HR strategies are as efficient as possible for future success.  These sessions are facilitated by Susan Bains of Holistic HR.
 
Session One: Wednesday, May 30th
Topic: Employee Leaves - Paid and unpaid leaves of absence; maternity/paternity leave; annual vacation and vacation pay.
 
Session Two: Tuesday, June 12th
Topic: Employment - Written employment contracts; types of employment (regular full time, temporary part time, etc.); hours of work and overtime/split shifts, minimum and maximum hours, and agreements.
 
Session Three: Tuesday, July 10th
Topic: Terminations - Wages, length of service pay, etc.
