About the Speaker:
Norm Lipinski joined the Surrey Police Service as Chief Constable in December 2020 after serving five years as the Deputy Chief Constable with Delta Police and five years as an Assistant Commissioner with the RCMP. Norm served 33 years with the Edmonton Police Service until he retired in 2011 with the rank of Deputy Chief Constable.
Norm holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB). Presently, he is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
Norm is an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces and served two years as the Vice-President of the BC Association of Municipal Chiefs of Police and is Co-Chair of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Law Amendments Committee.
