8:30  SBOT President or CEO starts program – introduces Cllr Hayne

8:35  Councillor Hayne - Welcomes participants

                        - Provides overview of issue and objectives of forum

8:45  Panel session:    - Civic Beautification Planner shows PowerPoint slides demonstrating negative impact of illegal signs– strip malls/corner stores/gas stations/builder’s signs/real estate signs

                              also shows ‘good’ examples (15 min)

                        - Bylaws & Licensing rep speaks regarding current sign bylaw/enforcement efforts (10 min)

                        - Planning rep speaks regarding current sign bylaw/update in progress and the process for obtaining a sign permit (10 min)

9:20  Councillor Hayne  - Opens and moderates Q & A session

                        - Requests feedback on current sign bylaw to help inform update to sign bylaw

9:45  Councillor Hayne  - Conveys next steps
