Jog for the Bog 2019

Jog for the Bog is an annual chip-timed 5k and 10k marathon that is held in Delta on International Bog Day (July 21st), starting at the Planet Ice and running along the perimeter of the Delta Nature Reserve. Hosted by Burns Bog Conservation Society, this event has been a success for 10+ years and continues to invite athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, families, and friends to participate in our runs/walks/jogs. The event will help fundraise for our education programs, support ongoing science and research that is being done to protect the bog, and also to prevent any future development, disruption, and loss of this globally unique ecosystem.
