Pacific Customs Brokers is offering a workshop on Harmonized System Tariff & Classification. The session will focus on H.S. Tariff Codes for importation of commercial goods into either Canada or the United States. This session will be of interest to: Business Owners, Operation Managers, Controllers, Purchasers and Shippers. Additionally, this a great opportunity for businesses with newly hired logistics staff as a cost effective way for employees to receive training and/or refresh their awareness. This session will provide you with a solid foundation in the principles of commodity classification, along with information on obtaining binding rulings from Customs on your merchandise. You will also have a better understanding of howduties aredetermined and how certain Special Programs may assist you in lowering the duties that your business pays for imported goods.
