Every year, 3 - 4 out of every 1,000 babies born in BC will be diagnosed with hearing loss or deafness.
BC Family Hearing Resource Society is the largest non-profit in the province that provides services to children from birth to age five with deafness, hearing loss and/or speech and language communication challenges. Their mission is to help each child reach their fullest communication potential through family-centered, early intervention services.
