Crescendo Operatic Society Audition Notice! Crescendo Operatic Society is an inclusive local company with a mission of making opera and classical music accessible for all levels. We have members from young children through seniors with all levels of experience from absolute beginner to professional. Our unique mentorship model allows for all levels to grow and learn.

Submit a video of yourself singing anything that shows your best singing self by August 25th. Callbacks are Sunday, August 24 and 31st from 1:30-4:30. Singers will be chosen for callbacks after the video submission round is completed.

If you are auditioning for solos, please select a classical piece from any genre in any language. If auditioning for ensemble/chorus, anything from the classical or musical theatre repertoire will suffice. Rehearsals are Sundays at Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta. Adults rehearse from 1:30-4:30, and the Children’s Chorus (Ages 5-12) rehearses 1:30-3:30.

Please note that these are non-paid community productions with monthly fees to the society. However, a few scholarships/bursaries are available, based on financial need. This season’s selections include: The Gift of the Magi (Eric Whitacre) Missa Pastoril (Garcia) The Story of the Barber (Rossini) Most of our leading roles are double cast, giving opportunities for many to participate and learn!
