On Tuesday, April 13th, BC's Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Sheila Malcolmson, will discuss the support and initiatives provided to British Columbians to combat the significant mental health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the concurrent opioid crisis.
The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated mental health challenges. While we continue to battle the effects of the pandemic, another crisis has been burgeoning. The opioid crisis is a complex public health issue that affects our workforce and economy.
