ACI eManifest Info Session

Attention Carriers Entering Canada - Will You Be Ready at the Border?

Pacific Customs Brokers will be offering an ACI eManifest session for carriers and self-carrying importers. This session will answer questions, offer practical solutions and help assist with preparation for the ACI eManifest regulations that took effect November 1, 2012. The intent of the ACI Program is to provide Canada Border Services Agency(CBSA) officers with electronic pre-arrival cargo and conveyance, shipper and importer data prior to arrival at the border. This session will be of interest to: truck owners and operators, self-carry importers, operation managers, drivers, dispatchers, shippers. May 1, 2013, when ACI eManifest-enabling regulations are expected to be in place, requirements will be mandatory and non-compliant carriers could be subject to penalties. Additionally, it is important to note that even though you may be set up for ACE eManifest into the USA you will still be required to set up for ACI eManfiest into Canada.
