This event recognizes the hard work of Surrey's businesswomen and their contributions to the community.  \n\n \n\nWe will be joined by keynote speaker Christine Day\, CEO of Luvo. Christine has been named Fortune Magazine's top 5 International Most Powerful Women\, Canada's Top 100 Women\, and named CEO of the Year\, by Globe and Mail and Business in Vancouver.\n\n \n\nSteve Darling of Global BC is back as Master of Ceremonies!\n\n\n\nJoin us as we celebrate the successful women in Surrey that make our business community such a vibrant place! Awards will be presented in five categories:\n\n\n\n1. Entrepreneur: Is an owner or significant shareholder of any business size\n\n2. Corporate/Leadership: Holds a senior/executive level position in a public or private-owned business\n\n3. Professional: Nominees have a professional designation\, i.e. accountant\, notary\, lawyer\, engineer\n\n* Helpful Hint: please include the nominee's designation with a brief explanation.\n\n4. Not-for-Profit Leader: Nominee holds a paid position as CEO\, Executive Director or Senior Manager\n\n5. Social Trailblazer: A founder or leader of an organization\, initiative\, or project that makes a significant social\, economic\, or environmental impact by building progressive and sustainable solutions to a complex issue facing our local community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNominations for the 2017 event will open in the fall!
