DESCRIPTION:Making Wellness a Priority\n\n\n\nMental health is one of the hottest topics of 2018 and there is no doubt that every aspect of our lives is affected by how we feel. Come and enjoy this opportunity to learn about mental health and explore what we can do to boost your mental wellness. This workshop will help you expand your knowledge on mental health\, define stress\, and identify sources\, and develop ideas for stress management.\n\n\n\nThis workshop is facilitated by the Canadian Mental Health Association Vancouver-Fraser Branch\n\n \n\nThe Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is one of the oldest national mental health charity\, and this year we celebrate 100 years of our work in Canada. CMHA Vancouver-Fraser Branch has been serving our community since 1958 and specializes in 1) supporting adults to reintegrate into their community and employment while recovering from severe mental illness\; 2) supporting children and youth to develop skills and knowledge to reduce their risk of a mental illness later in life while improving their mental wellness now\; 3) providing training to employees in other workplaces to improve their mental wellness\, support their work with people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis and reduce the stigma related to mental illness\; and 4) offering programming that helps all people to live more mentally healthy lives.\n\n\n\n \n\n\nEvent payment is due upon registration. Cancellations for event attendance\, sponsorship\, or exhibitor space will not be refunded. An event registration is considered a commitment to pay. While event registration is non-refundable\, cancellations before three full business days of the event may be eligible for a credit towards a future event. Some exclusions apply.
